The press refers to her as “the woman with the velvet gloves and steel balls.” As a civil rights lawyer and hospital Pharmacist, Sandra Roper was the first person of color to run for Brooklyn District Attorney, and the first to stand up to former DA Charles Hynes. Called the 2017 comeback Judge candidate, Sandra is here to tell you why she’s back to run for Civil Court Judge.
Update: She won the election has been Judge Sandra Roper since then.
